As a general guide, if you’re ordering a frame only with no mat border, measure the paper size of your artwork edge to edge, in millimetres.
If you’re ordering a frame with a mat border, measure the area of the artwork you want visible inside the mat window, not the full paper size. If your artwork has a signature that you want to display inside your mat window, please watch our instructional video here.
Please note that with a Mat border there is a 3mm overlap on each edge of your artwork (the overlap is there to keep the print in place). If you do not want the overlap simply add 6mm to each of your length and width. For example if your artwork is 500mm x 600mm you would enter it into our system as 506mm x 606mm. Then check that the mat window matches what you are wanting your visible artwork area to be.
